Renew the Dresden Files!

Support a Second Season of The Dresden Files

Devoted Dresden fan Belynda is offering to run a second letter drive for the campaign! If you email your letter to SCIFI to Belynda, she'll print it out and send it to Mr. Stern and Ms. Hammer. If you haven't written snailmail yet, or if you'd like to write in again, please take advantage of Belynda's generous offer... Click here for more information.

Call SCIFI and ask for a second season:

If you've got a minute and can manage a quick call to New York, please call SCIFI at:

212-664-3571

Tell them your name, and then leave a short, sweet message explaining why you want to see a second season of The Dresden Files.

Please keep it polite and positive -- the more positive comments the execs get, the easier it is for them to justify (to the network) spending money on a second season.

If you're a fan of the show, here's what you can do to show your support for the show:

  1. Write Mark Stern and Bonnie Hammer at the SCIFI channel. If you only have time to do one thing, please, do this. A pile of letters has a big impact on the network execs who make the decision -- it's a visible, tangible demonstration of the fact that The Dresden Files has a fanbase. (To make it easier... if you've already written an email in support of The Dresden Files, just print out two copies from your sent mail folder and mail them to Mr. Stern and Ms. Hammer.) Every letter counts!

  2. Email SCIFI

  3. Sign the petition at www.dresdenfiles.org. The folks here are printing out the petition every time they get another five thousand signatures, and mailing those signatures to the network execs. So this is another way to voice your support for a show that makes an impression on the powers that be.

  4. Sign our guest book. If you post positive remarks in the guest book, I'll print them out and mail them to the network execs. So posting in the guest book is like sending in a second snail mail letter, and I'll take care of the sending part!

  5. Write the producers and ask them to keep the show on the air

  6. Spread the Word. Tell your friends about the campaign to get The Dresden Files renewed.

  7. Check out some of the other ways you can help support The Dresden Files

TO OUR FANS OVERSEAS: I've started getting emails from fans outside the U.S. -- thank you for emailing SCI FI in support of the show! If you live outside of the U.S. and would like to participate in the snailmail campaign too, you can send me an email at bonnielala@gmail.com with your comments, addressed to Mr. Stern and Ms. Hammer, along with your name and your location (city & country) and I'll print it out and mail it to them for you. Every piece of mail counts!
